Scania Mans Wool Socks

Öjbro socks are knit in Sweden using pure new Merino wool and feature patterns inspired by traditional Nordic designs. Thoughtful features like reinforced heels and toes, plus the addition of spandex for shape retention, complement the softness and warmth of Merino.

Scania (Skane) is known in Sweden as the country’s pantry. Its location as the southernmost region of the country, along with fertile soil, contributed to its rise as an international trade center in the 13th century. The pioneer of Swedish textile art, Marta Maas-Fjetterstrom, set up shop in Scania in the late 1800’s and has inspired artists to this day, including the Åse herself (the designer behind Öjbro's many patterns). The red deers represent the rich heraldic history of the region, while the goose is the region's emblem.
